COURSE STRUCTURE:
Each day, there is a lecture, demonstration, and hands-on cutting with mannequins. On the third day we put it all together on a live model.
- - Day 1 - Introduction to the ELEMENTS haircutting system & scissor cutting
- - Day 2 - Deep dive on scissor cutting & ELEMENTS
- - Day 3 - Clipper work & fading. We put it all together and apply what you've learned with a live model.
WE TEACH FRAMEWORKS, NOT HAIRCUTS.
We break haircutting down into approachable frameworks so you can have a solid foundation of knowledge to lean on.
At the 3-Day Course, you will learn:
- - Scissor-based haircutting
- - Theory & diagram planning
- - Two clipper-cutting methods for executing bald fades that you won’t find on YouTube
- - Styling & photography
- - Systems to cut out the guesswork
- - How to differentiate yourself from competition
You will learn how to use layering, graduation, and shape to control the final result, how to handle your tools and the hair to be in complete control, and how to master your scissor and clipper work.
At the course, you will hear lectures, watch demos, and work hands on with mannequins and live models to execute the things you’ve learned immediately so they stick.
When you finish the course, you will have a deep understanding of theory, scissor, & clipper work that sets the stage for you to accelerate your career as a hair cutter. You will:

This is an intensive, comprehensive cutting course for barbers & stylists alike who are serious about elevating their craft.

This is the most effective path of growth for intermediate or advanced barbers/stylists since you have the undivided attention of an instructor to address specific habits and roadblocks.
Beginner barbers/stylists are welcome to pursue this option, but we recommend starting with the ELEMENTS course for a more relaxed way to learn the fundamentals of precision haircutting so you retain the maximum amount of information.

Join us after hours for a 2hr precision haircutting demo in our shop or in a city near you!
The educator gives an introduction to our cutting process and delivers a haircut while explaining the cut step by step from diagram planning to final styling and photography.

Do you just teach a bunch of trendy haircuts?
No... and yes. We demonstrate WHY and HOW to use fundamentals to achieve any look you can imagine. The haircuts we demonstrate this with are trending looks. The point of this class is to learn how to apply these principles to any haircut you want to do, trendy or not.
Why do I need an in-person course?
When you’re watching videos about haircutting, it’s impossible to ask real-time questions or get real-time feedback and suggestions while you try the haircut yourself. Personalized guidance is what makes everything click into place.
How do payments work?
We require a $300 deposit to secure your seat on the Elements course. We can work out a payment structure that fits your needs. Payment is due in full before the course begins. A payment link will be sent for each invoice due. We issue full refunds up to 20 days prior to the course. We issue 50% refunds up to 10 days before the course. Past that window, any payments are non-refundable.
